Amy Walsh

Amy Walsh is a visual artist living and working in Dublin. Amy works with lens based and digital media, photography, video, animation, audio, moving image, multimedia, and installation.

Amy graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2004 with a BA in Fine Art Media, and received an MSc in Multimedia Systems from Trinity College Dublin in 2006. In 2007, she completed an internship in New Media at the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Walsh's work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally and is included in the public collections of the Office of Public Works and the Western Health Board as well numerous other private collections.

Most recently Amys' work was selected to participate in 'Art is Good For You' a Bluetooth project around the Thomas Street area from 10th-17th November. This project was organized as part of a Dublin City Council artists’ residency programme with artist Saoirse Higgins. Mike Stubbs, director of FACT Liverpool selected the artworks.
